Business Development Specialist for LATAM Markets

We are seeking a skilled Business Developer to join our team in LATAM and the Caribbean. Our international client, a global leader in design, manufacturing, and solutions supply in smart measurement, is looking for a professional to expand its presence in the region.

The ideal candidate will report directly to the Head of Sales LATAM Caribbean Region and work closely with current clients to increase the company's presence and positioning in LATAM.

This is a 100% remote position, and the ideal candidate will be based in Querétaro or Guadalajara, México.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and prospect new accounts and customer portfolios in LATAM markets.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals.
  • Establish long-term relationships with customers and distributors in the region.
  • Represent the company to customers and authorities in selected markets.
  • Plan, organize, and implement sales strategies.
  • Coordinate with sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed.
  • Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives.
  • Create and implement processes and policies to support the overall business.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business.
  • Track and report on the status of proposal components.
  • Conduct ongoing market research.
  • Work with the pricing department to create rate proposals.
Requirements
  • A degree in industrial technology/engineering, business management, or a related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of experience.
  • Knowledge and experience within the technical field (i.e. industrial engineering).
  • Prior experience with B2B sales and a demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • English (advanced or native) and Spanish (mandatory). Any additional language is a plus (Portuguese in particular).

  • Willingness to learn and evolve within the company.
  • Ability to use and present software and IoT solutions will be a plus.
