Dispute Resolution Specialist III

We are seeking a skilled Dispute Resolution Specialist III to join our team at Global Payments. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for researching and resolving customer charge backs in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities- Researches, processes, and resolves chargeback/reversal requests for all dispute reason codes and all supported card brands by utilizing established processes in a multi-client/system environment and adhering to association regulations.
- Gathers and analyzes cardholder and/or merchant account transactions to determine if the disputed transactions are covered under federal regulations, organizes supporting information, and applies appropriate credit/debit adjustments to accounts based on the final result of arbitration.
- Communicates with clients via written correspondence, as required, in an effort to determine the appropriate disposition of a chargeback request.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Typically Minimum 4 Years Relevant Exp
- Skillfully completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways.
- Works on assignments requiring considerable initiative, understands implications of work, and makes recommendations for solutions.
- Maintains working knowledge of association and card industry regulations.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
As a Dispute Resolution Specialist III, you will play a critical role in ensuring that customer disputes are resolved efficiently and effectively. You will be working closely with internal stakeholders, including management, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
