We are seeking a Hotel Guest Services Supervisor to join our team at the Almare Luxury Collection Adult All-Inclusive Isla Mujeres, Carretera Garrafon Vista Alegre, Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo, Mexico.



About the Role

The Hotel Guest Services Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the front desk operations, ensuring that guests have an exceptional experience during their stay. This includes processing guest check-ins, verifying identities and forms of payment, assigning rooms, and activating/issuing room keys.



Responsibilities

  2. Process all guest check-ins, verifying guest identity and form of payment, and assigning rooms.
  3. Set up accurate accounts for each guest according to their requirements.
  4. Enter Marriott Rewards information.
  5. Ensure rates match market codes and document exceptions.
  6. Secure payment prior to issuing room key and verify/adjust billing.
  7. Compile and review daily reports/logs/contingency lists.
  8. Complete cashier and closing reports.
  9. Supply guests with directions and property information.
  10. Accommodate guest requests, contacting appropriate staff if necessary.
  11. Follow up to ensure requests have been met.
  12. Process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges.
  13. Balance and drop receipts.
  14. Count and secure bank at beginning and end of shift.
  15. Obtain manual authorizations and follow all Accounting procedures.
  16. Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.


Estimated Salary:

$40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
