Job Title: Strategic Access Manager

Job Summary:

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Access Manager to join our team in Mexico. As a key member of our Market Access Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to secure full access to our medicines in the Mexican healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and leverage strong networks and relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders in the Mexican healthcare system.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to secure full access to our medicines, including providing key insights, communicating specific needs, and removing hurdles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including governmental affairs, VAP, commercial, sales, medical, and HEOR, to drive business growth and success.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Mexican healthcare system, including the payer and political landscape, and the different stakeholders.
  • Provide data-driven insights to guide strategic choices and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in natural sciences, economics, pharmacology, or equivalent.
  • Solid experience in field positions in innovative hospital products, ideally with launch experience.
  • 3+ years experience in market access, external affairs, or value & pricing.
  • Pharmaceutical / biopharma / healthcare sector experience mandatory.
  • Very good understanding of the Mexican healthcare system on both national and regional level.
  • A deep understanding of the Mexican payer and political landscape and the different stakeholders.
