About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Global Business Services (GBS) team as a Financial Reporting Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing process efficiencies, supporting SAP S/4 implementation for Record to Report (R2R), and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

You will be responsible for:

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements that increase efficiency within your area.
  • Supporting the new SAP S/4 implementation for R2R.
  • Performing monthly and quarterly accounting close activities.
  • Ensuring proper control documentation based on the Risk Controls Matrix applicable to the team.
  • Preparing and reviewing Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
  • Providing timely external and internal audit support, as needed.
  • Supporting special project work as required.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statements.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 and R2R processes is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written English skills.
  • Attention to detail resulting in consistently reliable, accurate, and thorough work.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • SAP, HFM, and Blackline experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
