Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Director to lead our efforts in the Academic, Government, Not for Profit, and Healthcare sectors. This individual will be responsible for generating new opportunities and managing existing strategic customers within these industries.

About the Role
  • 4+ years of experience in closing complex sales transactions.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.

The ideal candidate will possess executive presence, business acumen, and proven negotiation and forecasting skills. They will also have experience selling SaaS solutions and knowledge of software contract terms and conditions.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage multiple complex sales processes simultaneously.
  2. Generate new opportunities within the Academic, Government, Not for Profit, and Healthcare sector.
  3. Articulate LinkedIn Talent Solutions value proposition to senior leaders.
  4. Prospect relentlessly to build pipeline and establish strong relationships with prospects.
  5. Create accurate forecasts and maintain transparency with management on pipeline status.
  6. CLOSE NEW BUSINESS CONSISTENTLY AT OR ABOVE QUOTA LEVEL.
  7. CLOSE RENEWALS OF EXISTING CUSTOMERS.
  8. Develop and execute a strategic plan for the territory.
  9. Document and distribute competitive information.
  10. Invest in colleagues and provide coaching and advice when necessary.
  11. Develop and circulate best practices for the team.
  12. Share market insights with product and marketing teams.
  13. Solve problems proactively and take on additional initiatives as needed.
Salary and Benefits

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Qualifications and SkillsBasic Qualifications
  • Experience in managing complex sales processes.
  • Knowledge of the Public Sector and experience selling to this industry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Executive presence and business acumen.
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to find, manage, and close high-level business in an evangelist sales environment.
  • Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decision making.
