The RoleWe're seeking a seasoned Strategic Partnership Director to join our Partner & Alliances team. As a key player in our partner-driven sales strategy, you'll develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market plan that leverages the strengths of our partners to achieve mutual success.
- You'll consistently deliver new revenues and meet agreed bookings quotas by selling with and through strategic partners.
- You'll develop and execute a detailed territory plan to maximize partner-driven sales opportunities.
- You'll grow and manage a quality pipeline of new strategic partners.
- You'll nurture and improve working relationships with and business contributions from existing and assigned partners.
- You'll build and refine strategies for expanding market reach and accelerating market penetration through alliances.
- You'll actively engage with existing and new partners to enhance awareness about Sovos' global Tax Compliance and Business-to-Government Reporting solutions.
- You'll build strong relationships and maintain robust communication with partners' direct and indirect sales channels to identify new market and client opportunities.
- You'll conduct quarterly business reviews with strategic partners to drive consistent productivity against agreed KPIs.
- You'll educate and mobilize internal business partners to support key Alliance Sales objectives.
- You'll act with utmost integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters involving key stakeholders.
- You'll set an example for all other Global Alliance Sales team members by demonstrating unmatched initiative, drive, and determination to achieve results, success, and growth.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, channel sales, channel marketing, or business development.
- You have a proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
- You have experience selling SaaS solutions preferred.
- You have a successful track record of selling to large enterprises, managing complex sales cycles, and interacting with senior executives.
- You can listen and communicate effectively over the phone and in person.
- You are willing to travel up to 50% for partner meetings, trade shows, and special projects.
- You are a self-motivated team player with a strong drive to exceed goals.
