Technical Support Engineer for GTAC, Latin America level

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our GTAC team in Latin America. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service availability and performance for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure SLAs are achieved and client expectations are met by consistently troubleshooting and monitoring to ensure maximum possible service availability and performance.
  • Collect logs, sense customer attitude, troubleshoot problems, track all issues, and report incidents.
  • Establish a good relationship with customers externally and work closely with them to promote company image to customers.
  • Apply patches, upgrade software, and ensure that data is secured for customer infrastructure within a controlled environment.
  • Provide expertise on system performance tuning, capacity planning, maintenance patching, and new version installation.
  • Develop and maintain standard templates for repeatable build outs.
  • Plan and implement small to medium scale changes on production systems.
  • Analyze and assess the impact and risk of small to medium risk changes on production systems.
  • Demonstrate commitment to service excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic, IT, Telecommunications, Network, Computer Systems or related Engineering.
  • Advanced or medium English level - (Listening & Writing).
  • Knowledge of Windows/Unix/Linux Servers, virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware), and computer hardware.
  • Possesses a good working knowledge of various technologies such as virtualization of storage and servers, Linux, network, client-server, storage, and UNIX.
  • Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability and desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
