Job DescriptionThe Multilingual Information Professional position is part of our Medical Information Contact Center team, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional medical information services.
Essential Functions:- Medical Information Service Delivery: Respond to unsolicited customer requests for medical and safety information via various channels, including phone, email, letter, fax, and scientific meetings.
- Information Response: Provide labeled and unlabeled medical/safety information responses in accordance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client/internal policies.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately identify, document, and report adverse events, pregnancy reports, special situation events, and product complaints in compliance with government regulations and ProPharma's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Translation Services: Translate English documents into target languages or vice versa and deliver translated responses either on the phone or in writing.
- Maintain quality in all areas of the job, including performing quality checks on Adverse Events, Product Quality Complaints, correspondence, and enquiries logged into Inquiry Handling Systems.
- Quality check translations in line with the translation SOP.
- Provide after-hours coverage on a rotated basis subject to business requirements.
- Adhere to company and country-specific privacy policies, ensuring any confidential information or personal data related to ProPharma and its clients is managed in accordance with Data Privacy regulations.
- Comply with the Company's health and safety policies.
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- Nursing degree (RN/BS/BA/MS).
- Mother tongue in Spanish.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong translation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading, professional telephone etiquette, and empathetic customer service skills.
- Ability to write in a fluent and grammatically correct manner in the target language for the role.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong cognitive abilities, including verbal reasoning, critical thinking, and analytical ability.
- Ability to multitask with attention to detail within restrictive timeframes, including sound planning, prioritizing, and organizational skills.
The estimated salary for this position is around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
