Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Know Your Customer Manager in the Global Service Center (GSC) at HSBC. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and Group policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Work Cell and coordinate timely delivery of files across the end-to-end remediation process, including Quality and LCO approval, achieving KPIs/KRIs.
- Evaluate quality standards and ensure they are being met.
- Supervise the team and motivate them in the escalation of any problems affecting the Area.
- Communicate with the Line of Business regarding information or client documentation requirements for renewal processes.
- Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with Bank and regulatory standards, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Liaise with the Corporate Middle Office Department as required and provide advice on supporting documentation and information needs.
- Assist in producing and distributing relevant Management Information.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Know Your Customer (KYC) within a financial institution or equivalent detailed process.
- Analytical skills in respect of a wide variety of document types.
- Familiarity with the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulatory framework.
- A very good level of English language proficiency (minimum C1 as per British Council).
- Numerical data management skills and basic knowledge of Excel.
- Sound knowledge of various fund/corporate structures.
- Basic project management knowledge.
