Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Basis Consultant to join our team at SAP SE. As a key member of our Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the 24x7 availability of SAP systems running in SAP ECS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond, troubleshoot, and resolve alerts and incidents related to SAP systems
- Act as an escalation point for productive issues at the Last Line of Defense (LLD) level
- Follow change management processes during service request execution
- Seek opportunities to streamline standard operating procedures through automation
- Operate effectively in a global 24x7 international team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technologies Management
- Solid know-how on SAP Technologies (SAP NetWeaver certification highly beneficial)
- Experience in at least one non-NetWeaver technology: BOBJ, SAP Mobile, Convergent Charging, OpenText, HANA XSA, etc.
- Strong capabilities in technical documentation
- Capacity to continuously acquire new knowledge in an independent and proactive way
- Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking
- Very good communication and networking skills
- Very good English language skills
- 12+ years' experience as Technical SAP NetWeaver (ABAP and Java Basis administration) and/or non-NetWeaver engineer on L3 or higher-level operations/support teams
- Strong working knowledge in Linux and Windows operating system platforms
- Strong working knowledge in HANA, Sybase ASE, and/or other Database management systems
- Strong working knowledge managing technical documentation
