Enterprise Architecture Director for US

As the Enterprise Architecture Director for US & Americas, you will be responsible for defining and promoting the usage of enterprise architecture standards, both in terms of technology standards and its intended application, with a focus on the Americas market, including the US. The enterprise architecture standards will support the organization's strategic objectives, ensure optimal use of technology resources, and comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning and Alignment: Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with senior management to understand business goals, identify technology needs, and propose IT solutions that support these goals.
- Technology Integration and Management: Evaluate, select, and integrate new technologies and systems to enhance the organization's capabilities in areas such as drug discovery, clinical trials, supply chain management, and regulatory compliance. Ensure seamless integration of new systems with existing infrastructure, minimizing disruption and ensuring data integrity.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure that IT systems comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations and standards (e.g., GxP, HIPAA). Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data, including patient information, intellectual property, and proprietary research data.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with various stakeholders, including business teams, domain architects, regulatory affairs, both at global and local levels, to understand their IT needs and challenges. Facilitate effective communication between IT and other departments to ensure that technology solutions meet business requirements.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in IT and the pharmaceutical industry. Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in IT systems and processes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT architecture or a related area.
