Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
KONE México is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality service to customers through proactive communication and timely resolution of issues.
- Accurately report work performed in real-time to ensure the accuracy of e-Optimum and Customer Notification.
- Maintain excellent relationships with customers, contact persons, and end-users by applying an Ambassador attitude.
- Ensure equipment safety and performance, and manage the site environment during service operations.
- Identify site risks and communicate them to your supervisor, taking immediate action when necessary.
- Perform unplanned service repairs based on equipment needs, and obtain approval from the on-site contact person when necessary.
Service Operations:
- Ensure the safety of end-users and the site.
- Responsible for safe working practices and carrying out operations according to maintenance instructions and safety instructions.
- Execute service visits (planned maintenance, callouts, and service repairs) respecting schedules and time limits, quality standards, time allocation, and processes.
- Effectively plan your workload in conjunction with the service supervisor.
- Raise sales leads to your supervisor.
- Submit timely back reports of work done according to process.
- Manage your proximity stock, identifying spare needs and requesting spares from your supervisor.
- Keep service tooling, vans, instruments, etc. safe, maintained, and in good condition.
Leadership/People Management:
- Regularly update your supervisor on all relevant information.
- Be familiar with all aspects of lift and associated technology, and attend proposed training.
- May be required to give training/coaching to persons nominated by your supervisor.
