Position Overview
As a Cloud Solutions Support Specialist, you will rapidly acquire knowledge on utilizing various cloud technologies to empower our clients in achieving their goals.

Your Role
You will serve as the Cloud Advocate across AWS offerings, equipping our clients with essential tools and strategies to enhance their presence in global markets.

Key Responsibilities
The DMS role focuses on AWS mobile solutions (Cognito, Device Farm, Pinpoint) and serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions). Mobile services and serverless frameworks are among the most rapidly evolving sectors in technology, and we are eager to assist developers in innovating and creating exceptional experiences.

Daily Activities
Your responsibilities as a Cloud Solutions Support Specialist will encompass, but are not limited to, the following tasks:

  • Primarily resolving customer inquiries through various communication channels (telephone, email, and web/live chat), employing advanced troubleshooting methods to deliver customized solutions and collaborating with clients to investigate the root causes of issues.
  • Driving initiatives that enhance support-related processes and improve customer experiences, which may include creating tutorials, how-to videos, technical articles, and training sessions.
  • Utilizing your customer support expertise to provide insights to internal AWS teams on service enhancements, while tackling critical and complex customer challenges that may involve multiple AWS services.
  • Engaging in continuous learning of cutting-edge technologies and developing new technical proficiencies and professional skills.
  • Participating in the hiring process as an interviewer and providing coaching and mentorship to new team members.

Work Schedule
This role requires flexibility to work five days a week (occasionally on weekends) on a rotational basis. Possible schedules may include Sunday - Thursday, Tuesday - Saturday, or Monday - Friday.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience with one or more modern programming languages, data structures, algorithms, HTTP, and troubleshooting API calls.
  • Knowledge or experience in system administration and troubleshooting any operating system (Linux and/or Windows) and networking.
  • Effective communication skills in English (written and spoken) within technical and business contexts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Understanding of distributed computing environments.
  • Exposure to serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, AWS IoT, or mobile and messaging technologies, or AI-related technologies.
  • Understanding of cloud computing concepts and/or experience with any cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience in scripting or developing in one or more of the following languages: UNIX Shell, Python, R, Ruby, GO, Java, .NET (C#), JavaScript.
