Overview of the Position

In this role as a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for: Ensuring dependable infrastructure and application functionality that aligns with business needs across the application suite. Collaborating with software development teams to prepare for the operational launch of new applications and features. Engaging with stakeholders, including business units, product managers, and project leaders, to outline strategic plans for applications and processes. Promoting ongoing service enhancements and innovation in efficiency, software quality, and dependability, while striving to meet or surpass service level agreements (SLAs). A comprehensive understanding of ITIL methodologies related to incident resolution, problem-solving, application lifecycle management, and operational health oversight. Monitoring and evaluating key operational and technical performance indicators for the business. Clearly communicating intricate issues, concepts, and solutions to diverse audiences. Participating in significant projects such as extensive upgrades. Collaborating with security, data center, and service governance teams to ensure adherence to internal and external standards, expectations, and certifications. Keeping documentation, processes, and procedures current and relevant. Engaging in a culture of continuous learning and demonstrating curiosity about emerging technologies.

Your Profile
You would be an ideal candidate for the Technical Support Specialist position if you possess:

Experience in supporting applications developed on contemporary application frameworks and cloud platforms, including .NET, Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server, JavaScript frameworks and libraries, HTML/CSS/JS, TypeScript, jQuery, Docker, AWS/Azure. 2 to 3 years of experience in a Technical Support role. A track record of monitoring and evaluating key operational and technical performance indicators.
