Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Operations Specialist to join our team at Oerlikon in Querétaro, Mexico. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting the Head of Sales Mexico and driving sales success within the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and profitability, working closely with the Sales Manager and other cross-functional teams.
  • Support setting sales goals and targets, and monitor the team's performance to ensure these are met or exceeded, utilizing data analytics and reporting skills.
  • Create X-matrices according to management strategy, feed monthly results, alert the team of deviations, and request actions to drive sales growth.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings to discuss targets, strategies, and ongoing projects, fostering open communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and promotional activities, ensuring a cohesive approach to driving business results.
  • Prepare sales reports and analyze data to identify trends, forecast sales, and assess the effectiveness of sales tactics, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Oversee the administration of CRM systems, ensuring accurate recording of customer interactions and sales data, and provide timely support to the sales team as needed.
  • Assist with the preparation of sales presentations and materials, helping to equip the sales team with the necessary tools to succeed in their roles.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role as assistant to Sales Manager or equivalent, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and improving operational efficiency.
  • High-level administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, CRM, Excel, Outlook, Word, Power BI, SAP).
  • Advanced communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Data analytics skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork abilities, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, foster a collaborative team culture, and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Advanced English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.

  • An estimated salary of approximately $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
