We are seeking an experienced Customer Support Specialist to join our team at Nielsen. This is a critical role that plays an important part in attracting and retaining customers.

As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing world-class support to customers for requests, issues, questions, concerns or enhancements. You will utilize tools like Salesforce to log tickets and then project manage the process internally with cross-functional teams and externally with all client stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have empathy, excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, patience, a positive attitude, and excellent problem-solving skills. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team.

The salary range for this position is approximately $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or chat
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues using data analysis and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Document resolutions into a knowledge base for reuse and reference point
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
