We are seeking a highly skilled Billing Specialist to join our team at Blue Yonder. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing and invoicing for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer profiles in our CRM system to ensure accurate representation of installed product contractual data.
- Enter all contracts and amendments/credits in our Accounting System on a daily basis.
- Generate and mail invoices to customers as scheduled.
- Maintain shipping notifications and tracking numbers in both the Accounting System and the contract file.
- Participate in the investigation of bill process or invoice generation issues.
- Process all required amendments to contracts.
- Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
- Review accounting matters with other departments as needed.
- Update all billing activity in accounts receivable and general ledger.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience with billing and contracts.
- Fluent English (speaking, writing, and reading).
- Technical knowledge of accounting processes related to billing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and Workday.
What You'll Do:
- Process billing from Workday.
- Manage customer invoicing portals.
- Gain understanding of multiple product types.
- Learn the contract entry system.
- Process special billing requests out of Upland.
- Handle corrections arising from Customer Support review and billing review.
- Process and distribute multiple invoice types.
- Process multiple credit types.
- Field customer queries.
- Bi-Weekly Time and Expense processing.
- Government Billing and Entry into government systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
