Job Summary
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced engineer to join our global EBS organization and provide support on HCM products for Oracle's E-Business Suite, specifically Oracle Benefits, Payroll, and HR.
As a Senior Support Engineer, you will offer strategic technical support to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. You are expected to be an expert member of the technical problem-solving team, routinely sought after to address complex, critical customer issues. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service support, incident tracking, diagnosis, replication, troubleshooting, and resolution of critical cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise on EBS HCM Suite, including Oracle Benefits, Payroll, and HR
- Offer strategic support to customers, OEMs, and VARs on installation, maintenance, and use of Oracle products
- Develop and implement solutions to customer issues, working independently with minimal direction from management
- Facilitate customer relationships with Support and provide advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues
- Have in-depth knowledge of several Oracle products and platforms, with the ability to complete assigned duties with minimal direction
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or Chemistry, or equivalent professional/technical experience
- Minimum 6 years' experience with Core products or 5 years' experience with Applications products
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read and decipher software Log and Trace files
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
