About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Westcon Mexico, S.A. de C.V. as a key member of our sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to drive sales growth and expand our vendor partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Business Strategies: Develop and implement business plans to drive sales growth and expand our vendor partnerships.
  • Build and Maintain Vendor Relationships: Foster strong relationships with our vendors to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with our sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of business strategies.
  • Manage and Develop Direct Reports: Manage and develop a team of sales professionals to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Requirements
  • 3-5 Years of Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness and ability to develop and execute business strategies.
  • Customer Focus: Excellent customer focus and ability to build strong relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Initiative and Self-Management: Strong initiative and self-management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute business strategies.
  • Highly Numerate: Highly numerate and able to analyze data to inform business decisions.
  • IT Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the IT industry, including channel, vendors, and competition.
