Sales Development Representative

Nutanix is seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Development Representative to play a pivotal role in pipeline generation. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and nurturing potential new business opportunities through inbound and outbound initiatives.
Your Role- Identify and prioritize potential new business opportunities for sales growth through inbound and outbound initiatives.
- Follow up on all leads generated through marketing campaigns to ensure timely response to potential customers.
- Maintain a high daily activity level through calls, connections, and emails to uncover relevant prospects.
- Work cross-functionally with field sales, channel, and marketing teams to deliver meetings and qualified opportunities.
- Execute outbound sales-led campaigns to drive new business acquisition for the assigned territory.
- 2+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in software or IT products or services.
- A bachelor's degree, preferably in business, communications, marketing, or a technical discipline.
- Knowledge of Virtualization, Storage, and cloud computing marketplaces is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate cross-functionally and with diverse end-user audiences.
- Tenacious and energetic with a good work ethic and interest in selling.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and rapidly prioritize and adapt to changing initiatives.
