Job Summary

Westcon Mexico, S.A. De C.V. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Product Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving profitable market share growth through business planning execution, pipeline management, and deep sales floor and customer enablement and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Internal Support: Act as internal support to the vendor business lead to drive profitable market share growth through business planning execution, pipeline management, and deep sales floor and customer enablement and engagement.
  • Desk Training and Tool Training: Engage with the Business Unit and/or General sales floor, running desk training, tool training, and driving product mind share.
  • Strategy Development: Support development of strategies and ideas to assist business growth.
  • Pipeline Management: Ownership for building an accurate and detailed pipeline of deals within the Company's CRM system (Compass).
  • Weekly Reporting: Weekly reporting to the vendor on sell-out activity, tracking performance of promotional activities, and the deal pipeline.
  • Business Plan Execution: Support execution of business plans as required by the business development manager.
  • Marketing Plan Execution: Support execution of marketing plans as required by the Marketing Manager.
  • Training Opportunities: Identify training opportunities within customers and internal sales teams and address accordingly.
  • Customer Care: The point of escalation for customer care issues from the sales floor.
  • Web Tool Development: Provide direction for the development and maintenance of web tools such as InTouch, Licensing Online (LOL), as well as vendor micro-sites and online configurators.
  • Product Information: Communicate product information, pricing, special offers, and promotions to customers and the internal sales teams.
  • Sales Floor Support: Run call-out days on the sales floor and/or the Business Unit sales teams.
  • e-Business Services: Promote and sell Tech Data's e-business services through the sales floor and/or Business Unit sales teams.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage directly with customers depending on role requirements.
Requirements
  • 1 to 3 Years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree with Technical/Business field of study required.
  • Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
  • Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills.
  • Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
