Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to take on the role of Manager of Vendor Management (MVM). This position is crucial in achieving our goal of providing a comprehensive range of books in various formats to readers across Mexico.

This leadership role involves managing a high-performing team dedicated to optimizing both revenue and profitability within the Books category. You will leverage a diverse skill set and collaborate across key functional areas, including inventory oversight, marketing strategies, pricing analysis, operational efficiency, and financial management to enhance the performance of our strategic vendor partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish clear objectives and strategic direction for the business, ensuring alignment with overarching company goals.
  • Communicate effectively with Amazon partners and vendors, as well as internal teams such as buying, merchandising, marketing, public relations, finance, and operations to foster innovation and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop necessary systems and processes that support business objectives, including retail systems and inventory management.
  • Identify and analyze industry trends that impact customer selection and overall experience.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in account management, project management, or procurement.
  • Proven ability to drive alignment and direction with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish.

  • Experience in managing and developing high-performance teams.
