Job Summary:

Carolina Logistics Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Carrier Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with carrier partners to ensure seamless logistics services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrier Relationship Management: Conduct regular performance reviews with carriers to ensure compliance with company standards and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Carrier Onboarding: Identify and onboard new carriers to expand our network and improve logistics services.
  • Load Assignment and Coordination: Coordinate the assignment of loads to carriers, ensuring timely pickup and delivery of shipments in compliance with customer requirements.
  • Market Analysis and Negotiation: Analyze market trends and carrier performance data to make informed decisions and negotiate competitive rates with carriers to secure capacity while maximizing company margins.
  • Operations Integration: Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless integration of carrier services into our logistics processes.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months - 2 years of proven experience in carrier sales, logistics, or freight brokerage, with a strong understanding of the US transportation market.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other relevant software.
