Job Summary
The role of Vice President Sales Team corresponds to a senior leadership position within the Commercial Banking division at HSBC. This full-time position directly manages a team of sales professionals and is responsible for driving business growth across a portfolio of +800 million dollars with +1000 legal entities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase revenue, expand market share, and enhance customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including CFOs, CEOs, and Treasurers, to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and expand market share, aligned with HSBC's commercial banking strategy and global standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Global Relationship Managers and Global Sales Managers, to maximize cross-selling opportunities and drive business growth.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts and market research.
- Develop and implement distribution channel business development strategies to increase revenue and expand market share.
- Protect the bank's reputation and ensure an acceptable risk profile through effective credit and customer due diligence reviews.
Requirements
- Proven track record of driving business growth and increasing revenue in a commercial banking or sales leadership role.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
