Job Title: Regional Sales Officer

ENGIE Mexico is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Officer to join our team. As a key player in the energy market, we are committed to providing energy and better living conditions to the Mexicans we proudly serve.

Purpose of the Position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of the sales strategy, achieving sales margin goals and growth forecasts for gas and power solutions, and developing each Region. This role requires maintaining fluid relations with current and potential clients, qualifying leads to build a strong pipeline, and successfully increasing revenues and profitability for the business.

Responsibilities and Job Functions:
  • Implement the sales strategy, prospect, generate qualified leads, negotiate, and sign new contracts to meet revenue targets for natural gas and energy sales.
  • Continuously assess market trends, customers, competitors, industry, and country analyses to identify and realize opportunities with existing and potential new customers within the target segment.
  • Educate the market and customers on ENGIE capabilities and identify opportunities in the Region to address customer needs with ENGIE energy and gas services.
  • Develop and maintain a qualified pipeline of opportunities by establishing senior-level relationships with major customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships at senior levels with key customers, stakeholders, and other decision makers.
Occupational Profile:
  • Administrative, Accounting or Business
  • MS Office (mainly Excel)
  • Natural gas tracking platforms (ICE, Platts, Bloomberg (basic))
  • Laws, directives, norms, rules, and fundamentals of the natural gas market and products that are marketed for B2B segment in Mexico.
  • Data Managing Tools
  • English (advanced level)
Requirements:
  • 3 years of sales experience.
  • 2 years of working in the Energy and/or Gas sector.
  • Knowledge and strong networking relationships within the Energy and/or Gas sector.
  • Customer centricity.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills preferably demonstrated through a proven track record of winning bids and leading client presentations articulating the value proposition of each product.
  • Proven problem-solving ability, including resolving customer complaints.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology and translate it into solutions that address customer needs.
  • Knowledge of SalesForce CRM for client information.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools.
  • BI Tools.
