Customer Service Lead

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Lead to join our team at National Pen. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless communication with external stakeholders regarding customer order status.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate with external stakeholders on customer order status
- Meet KPIs for planning OTS and TAT metrics
- Maintain excellent communication and working relationships with all departments within the company
- Provide clear commitment dates to customers when required
- Evaluate and escalate any challenges to meet customer expectations
- Identify and provide status for any past due orders
- Communicate in advance any challenges to meet customer need dates
- Follow up on critical orders and prioritize requests from stakeholders
- Follow up on material shortages to fulfill customer orders
Requirements
- Fluent English speaker
- College degree or equivalent experience
- 1-5 years of experience in customer service, production control, or planning areas
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Previous manufacturing industry experience with strong working knowledge of ERP
- Strong leadership, motivational, and team building skills
- Ability to quickly analyze and solve complex problems
