Key Responsibilities:- Provide first call response for solutions pricing and quoting of simple solutions requests for customers within assigned territory or is accountable for territory-focused relationship-based customer transactions in support of a large group with more complex solutions.
- Accountable for opportunity forecasting and pipeline management for the same group of assigned-territory customers.
- Engage with customers to understand the scope of the solution request and utilize entry-level knowledge and tool sets to configure, price, quote, and process requests for specific hardware, software, services for identified configuration design solutions.
- Create and deliver initial solutions to customers, determining and communicating lead time and delivery based on product availability, build lead times, etc.
- Provide assigned-territory customers with information to assist in making additional decisions regarding hardware, software, services, and/or services renewal and warranty.
- Adhere to customer program requirements utilizing customer contract information to ensure enforcement of terms, freight, inventory, pricing, etc.
- Supply final adjusted design solution pricing based on applicable programs, promotions, and add-ons.
- Use internal resources to resolve or escalate all pertinent pre-sales issues, e.g., credit, engineering, etc.
- Refer requests for product education and product alternatives outside of their area of knowledge to others.
- Follow up on all opportunities and monitor the pipeline activity to close within the identified forecast period.
- Contribute information to forecast consolidations.
- Participate in planning and reviews for customers in the assigned territory.
- Implement actions identified by management to resolve identified budget gaps.
- Maintain integrity of customer information in TD SYNNEX systems, as appropriate.
- Demonstrated entry-level working knowledge of product, pricing, customer service, and sales strategy.
- Demonstrated entry-level working knowledge of simple configuration solutions design, including tools, products, and services, practices, procedures, and methods.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and use appropriate tools to price simple configuration requests.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of sales and quoting systems.
- Demonstrated verbal, written, interpersonal communications skills sufficient to work in a successful team environment and effectively interface with supplier and customer representatives by telephone and e-mail.
- Demonstrated working-level attention to detail and the ability to organize, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks based on identified process requirements.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
