About the Team

The LATAM Partnerships Strategic Operations team is a key component of Stripe's success, driving new partner implementations and programs, and ensuring the efficiency and reliability of new and existing partners. We sit at the intersection of Stripe's engineering and product with the financial partners that help us power our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and own technical and operational relationships with key partners, including banks, networks, and technology partners.
  • Work cross-functionally with Stripe teams, including Engineering, Product, and Partner Development Management, to build integrations, products, and drive process enhancements.
  • Define SLAs and performance standards for partners and drive efforts to implement and track commitments.
  • Identify inefficiencies in Stripe's operating model and drive new solutions to address them.
  • Develop and manage end-to-end partner-facing project plans for new implementations.
  • Assist with incident resolution and drive partner communications and escalations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project/program management and/or business operations experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working with payments, card networks, acquirers, banking partners, and systems.
  • Proven ability to drive medium- to large-sized projects with external partners and cross-functional internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of and experience with payment technologies and ecosystems.
  • Experience managing external relationships.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English, with Spanish as a plus.
  • The willingness to travel when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to drive medium-to-large sized technical projects with external partners and cross-functional internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritize and remain focused under pressure, and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic to intermediate SQL skills.
  • Experience in a high-growth technology company.
