About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Sr Account Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new sales and further developing existing relationships with customers throughout the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively meet with customers to understand their needs and develop effective sales strategies
- Prospect new and further develop existing relationships at different levels throughout assigned accounts
- Prepare business plans for the territory, including opportunity maps, sales strategies, and resource requirements
- Collaborate with other groups within Thermo Fisher to implement effective sales techniques and address business opportunities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in the Sciences strongly preferred
- Minimum 3+ years of experience selling professional services and/or software
- Strong technical understanding and business insight to present compelling value propositions to customers
