Job Description
We are seeking a Commercial Development Specialist to develop and implement business development strategies to meet sales targets and increase market share in the Latin America region. Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with distributors to identify and pursue new business opportunities and support customer needs.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of the market and competition, including trends, products, and pricing.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and opinion leaders.
- Providing regular reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities in the territory.
- Providing technical support to customers by answering inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing product recommendations.
- Assisting clients in the use of products, and in the interpretation of results obtained with tests.
- Organizing validation studies including Products in clients laboratories.
- Installing and providing support in the use of data analysis software.
- Participating and presenting scientific data (oral or poster presentations) in the Territory, as well as in international scientific meetings abroad where requested.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A BS in Biotechnology, MVZ, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience within the diagnosis industry for animals.
- Strong knowledge of lab tests, dealers, data analysis, sales strategies within the LATAM market.
- Self-management, organization, and customer centricity skills.
- Fluent English language skills are a plus.
