Senior Corporate Banking Relationship Manager

The position of Senior Corporate Banking Relationship Manager is a key role within the Citi Commercial Bank team. It involves building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, as well as identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a deep understanding of commercial banking products and processes.
Responsibilities:
Clients are contacted to deepen their relationships and proactively address any potential issues or concerns. This includes leveraging internal resources to support client needs, resolving portfolio-related issues, and collaborating with senior Relationship Managers to leverage expertise and capabilities across Citi businesses.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in solutions provided to clients, as well as developing business strategies to further develop our relationship with clients.
Identifying and pursuing new clients that align with Citi Commercial Bank's value proposition, while also expanding industry knowledge and relationships through interactions with influencers, industry associations, thought leaders, and senior business contacts.
Ensuring deals are structured to balance risk and reward, with incentives aligned for teams to act in the best interests of clients.
Actively protecting Citi's assets and reputation by serving as the first line of defense from a credit risk management perspective, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies at all times.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in commercial banking, with a strong understanding of products and processes.
Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of credit skills, Early Warning Detection, accounting principles, financial modeling, and financial statement analysis.
Proven leadership ability with excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with clarity and confidence.
Ability to work effectively in a team setting, with a self-motivated and passionate approach to creating new business opportunities with existing clients.
Able to adapt to new technology and understand its role in delivering exceptional client experiences.
Possesses a sharp business development focus, with the ability to demonstrate innovative approaches to meeting client needs.
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum
