The Business Development Officer is responsible for fostering and maintaining strong relationships with Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) clients in their portfolio. This involves providing expert advice on financial products and services to help clients achieve their business goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain SME clients, driving portfolio growth and increasing revenue.

• Conduct needs assessments to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling financial products and services.

• Provide comprehensive advice and guidance to SME clients, positioning Citi as their trusted financial partner.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and implement effective sales campaigns and strategies.

• Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with SME clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the client experience.

• Work closely with the Area Coordinator to achieve sales targets and improve overall performance.

**Requirements:**

• Previous experience in sales or business development, preferably in the financial services industry.

• Strong knowledge of financial products and services, particularly those related to SMEs.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
