Senior Engineering Manager

Orbia Advance Corp is seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our cross-functional team at the Matamoros site in Mexico.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and management to Maintenance, Facilities, Planning, Capital Expense Project, Reliability and Integrity Departments.
  • Collaborate with the Site Production Manager to ensure Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is maintained and maximized.
  • Develop and implement world-class systems for OEE reporting and monitoring.
  • Lead asset life cycle processes, including planning, acquisition, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal customers to support site-wide operations.
  • Direct safe and efficient preventive and corrective equipment repairs to maximize OEE.
  • Optimize maintenance labor and material costs to achieve plant performance goals.
  • Provide high-quality project management standards across the capital expense project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree with over 15 years of experience in the Chemical Industry.
  • Deep knowledge of Mechanical Maintenance, Reliability, Integrity, and Engineering Controls.
  • Project Management expertise and knowledge of SAP, Maintenance Systems, and CAPEX Management.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English.
