**Job Summary**:

The Strategic Regional Director will be responsible for driving the commercial development of Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. (Meau) in Hispanic America. This role will oversee the management team in Mexico, identify opportunities for growth, and develop strategies to improve performance and profitability.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Oversee the management team in Mexico and provide guidance on business development and growth strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to improve performance and profitability.
  • Work closely with senior management to define the optimal performance measurements and management priorities.
  • Maximize revenue and profitability potential by up-selling new revenue, raising awareness of Meau's broader portfolio of solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in trade shows, kick-off meetings, and other opportunistic events where senior decision-makers are present.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Meau's solutions and tailor presentations to meet the needs of different types of businesses.
  • Assist top clients in developing the business case and value proposition for proposed solutions.
  • Input and maintain all prospect and client activity.
  • Champion change to remain aligned with Meau's vision, goals, the industry, market, and client needs.

**Requirements**:

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 10 to 15 years' experience in a regulatory or compliance function, particularly involving cleared derivatives.
  • Technical knowledge of industrial automation products and solutions.
  • Broad functional experience may include areas of strategic planning, sales and marketing, business and market development, market research, and marketing communications.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead people and achieve results through others.
  • Previous business relationships and knowledge of the Japanese culture as it pertains to business conduct and communication.

**Travel Requirements**:

25% to 50% travel within the Americas and Japan.
