The Role

As a Contract Associate - Costing Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the contract analyst team in the development of contracts and change orders, using company costing tools, and documents, using legally reviewed templates, for newly awarded and ongoing projects at ICON.
  • Working simultaneously on numerous contracts and/or change orders.
  • Interacting with ICON's operational, legal, and sales teams as necessary, to determine the appropriate terms and conditions to be included in the contracts (inclusive of Start-up Agreements) and change orders.
  • Understanding legal language contained in a MSA, Start-up Agreements, and standalone contracts.
  • Developing an understanding of applicable ICON costing tools and how budgets are built, client budget grids, and any tools and templates developed within the Client Contract Services group as required.
  • Working with the respective Contract Manager on any issues that need to be escalated within ICON or the client.
  • Updating Salesforce in a timely and consistent manner with concise, accurate information on the status of contract or change order.
  • Developing and maintaining client/project files and tracking tools.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree required (science or finance preferable).
  • 1-2 years' experience working in an administrative role.
  • Advanced English written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient MS Office skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop your career within a leading CRO.
