Role Summary:

The Sales Support Representative plays a pivotal role in driving customer satisfaction and sales growth at Flowserve. This position requires a collaborative mindset, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate aftermarket quotes, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.
  • Review customer specifications and documents to apply Flowserve's technical and commercial requirements.
  • Develop daily tactical customer proposals, supporting strategic offerings and sales win-back opportunities.
  • Partner with Site Hubs to drive quotation performance, leveraging quoting tools for prioritization and efficiency.
  • Generate high-quality, on-time proposals to facilitate order fulfillment.
  • Manage and monitor proposals throughout the bid cycle, updating workload management tools and monitoring hit-rate optimization.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of pump applications and types, as well as parts, programs, and processes to drive solutions for valued customers.
  • Identify and develop key actions with the sales leadership team to achieve forecast accuracy, addressing performance gaps and preparing QBR data analytics.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of sales training, organization charts, and critical sales engagement information.
  • Collaborate with the sales leadership team to execute continuous improvement projects, meeting objectives.
  • Receive and compile weekly sales reports, supporting 30-day/quarterly sales forecast and monthly outlook processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office package.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Industry experience related to pumps/rotating equipment.
  • Experience with customer relationship management in the power generation and utility industries.
  • Experience in Sales Force.
  • Experience in sales or customer service in an engineered manufacturing environment with proven success in administrating commercial and/or government contracts.
  • Experience in pricing, contract review, and ERP administration.
  • BS or BA Degree in relevant field and/or 0-2 years relevant experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to establish priorities and work to specific deadlines with little supervision.
