Labor Relations Strategist

At AT&T Mexico, we redefine the future of connectivity.
As a Labor Relations Strategist, you will be responsible for managing labor relations unions for AT&T GSS in Mexico. This includes maintaining and renewing current collective bargaining agreements (CBAs). You will also develop and implement communication strategies with unions and employees. Additionally, you will serve as the point of contact for union delegates assigned to your team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent interpretation and administration of labor agreements, promoting a favorable union-management climate that supports corporate objectives.
- Conduct pre-bargaining research, create briefings for officers, work on subcommittee assignments, and develop major bargaining documents.
- Formulate and implement labor relations policies upon approval.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in labor-related matters.
- Conduct economic and cost impact analysis, as well as general research and analysis of the labor relations environment.
- In some cases, provide training or mentoring to less experienced staff, and offer feedback for evaluating new staff.
- Plan for annual negotiations, including deep reviews with corporate teams.
- Develop delegate assignment strategies.
- Support union activation and legitimation efforts.
- Budget planning.
- Manage voting sessions.
- Internal and external communication and training.
About the Role:
- This is a hybrid position requiring 3 visits to a local office per week.
- The position is based in Naucalpan De Juarez, Estado de Mexico, Mexico.
Requirements:
- Typically, a bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
- Experience in a union within a call center environment is preferred.
- Must be bilingual, fluent in English comprehension, speaking, and writing.
Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
Time Type: Regular
