Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Front Desk Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process all guest check-ins, including confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys.
  • Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
  • Process all check-outs, including resolving any late and disputed charges.
  • Answer and respond to all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track the readiness of rooms for check-in.
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
  • Supply guests with directions and information regarding the property and local areas of interest.
  • Run daily reports, including the number of arrivals and departures, and identify any special requests.
  • Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
  • Cash guests' personal checks and traveler's checks.
  • Count bank at the beginning and end of shift.
  • Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.

  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
