Java L2 Technical Support Specialist

Job Summary
Bounteous, a leading digital transformation company, is seeking a highly skilled Java L2 Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of customer-reported issues and provide timely and effective solutions
- Collaborate with Level 1 and Level 3 resources to resolve complex technical issues
- Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates and status on technical issues
- Develop and maintain detailed bug reports and documentation
- Monitor system components and identify potential issues before they become major problems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 1-3+ years of experience in software development and production management
- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and Java programming language
- Experience with SQL and scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, JavaScript, Python
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cluster computing and big data solutions such as Spark, Hadoop, HDFS
- Knowledge of Kafka, MongoDB, and microservices-based architecture
- Experience working with financial services industry
