Job Summary

Bounteous, a leading digital transformation company, is seeking a highly skilled Java L2 Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of customer-reported issues and provide timely and effective solutions
  • Collaborate with Level 1 and Level 3 resources to resolve complex technical issues
  • Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates and status on technical issues
  • Develop and maintain detailed bug reports and documentation
  • Monitor system components and identify potential issues before they become major problems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 1-3+ years of experience in software development and production management
  • Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and Java programming language
  • Experience with SQL and scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, JavaScript, Python
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cluster computing and big data solutions such as Spark, Hadoop, HDFS
  • Knowledge of Kafka, MongoDB, and microservices-based architecture
  • Experience working with financial services industry
