About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. - C68. As a key member of our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Data & AI GTM LATAM team, you will play a critical role in helping customers design and implement solutions that leverage our Storage services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Thought Leadership: Evangelize AWS Storage services and share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, white-papers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events.
  • Partner with SAs, Sales, Business Development, Data, and AI/ML Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and provide guidance on their customer engagements.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers and the AWS Storage services teams to provide customer-driven product improvement feedback.
  • Develop and support an AWS internal community of Data and AI-related subject matter experts worldwide.
  • Customer Advisor: Implement and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms under Gen AI, building prototypes, PoCs, and exploring new solutions.
Requirements
  • 7 years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
  • 5+ years of technical, customer-facing engagement experience.
  • 5 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
  • AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.
  • Computer Science/related degree and/or experience highly desired.
