**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our Trinseo Plastics Solutions team in Mexico/LATAM. As a key member of our commercial activities, you will be responsible for developing and implementing regional sales strategies for Automotive and Industrial compounds.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement medium and long-term sales strategies for Trinseo Plastic Solutions sales in Mexico/LATAM, focusing on Automotive and Industrial compounds.
  • Meet annual volume and margin targets, while developing new business opportunities in alignment with Trinseo's business strategy.
  • Enable best practices sharing with other Account Managers in Mexico/LATAM and between global regions.
  • Support the sales team in major contract negotiations with key accounts and establish key customer relationships in Mexico/LATAM.

**Essential Functions:**

  • Define and implement sales strategies and tactics, including steering, coaching, and price guidance of sales teams, customer meetings, and trade fair participation.
  • Internal reporting, participation in, and preparation of internal business meetings.
  • Interact with internal functions, including business management, product management, sales and distribution planning, technical services and development, and finance management, to discuss and define actions to realize targets and maximize financial performance.
  • Own commercial excellence and commercial market intelligence agendas, running sales development projects and initiatives in collaboration with marketing and product management.
  • Lead and participate in projects, including administrative processes such as price approvals and sales approval processes.

**Qualifications:**

  • University degree in business, engineering, chemistry, or process technology.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or product management roles in a B2B environment, with at least 3 years in the Automotive/Plastics/Chemical/Process industry.
  • Proven record of successfully conducting significant business, with good business acumen and financial skills.
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills, with the ability to balance long-term value add with short-term volume, margin, and working capital goals.
  • Ability to work in a volatile, fast-changing business environment, with common sense, responsibility, and accountability.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of manufacturing operations and ability to manage decision-makers at various organizational levels in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in English and preferably one other major European language.
