Data Governance Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant to join our team at Fractal, a leading strategic AI partner to Fortune 500 companies.
As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in advising and assisting our clients in developing and implementing effective data governance strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Data Governance Strategies
Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and data challenges, and develop comprehensive data governance strategies aligned with their specific needs.
Design Data Governance PoliciesSupport leadership in designing thought leadership in establishing data governance policies, procedures, and frameworks that ensure the effective management, privacy, and security of data assets.
Build Data Governance CapabilityHelp build the Data Governance capability along with other team members with PoVs, Accelerators and other Frameworks.
Execute Data Governance ProjectsExecute projects for diverse organizations in the lines of data governance, data quality, data privacy, metadata management in the lines of people, process and technology.
Promote Data Governance AwarenessCollaborate with client teams and stakeholders to promote data governance awareness and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Participate in Data Governance MeetingsParticipate in data governance meetings and committees, contributing to the continuous improvement of data governance policies and practices.
Requirements- Education and Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree with experience in Information Technology field.
Relevant ExperienceMinimum 7 years of relevant experience in data governance, data management, or related areas.
Skills and KnowledgeSolid understanding of data governance best practices, data quality management, data privacy regulations, and data security principles.
Technical SkillsFamiliarity with AI, machine learning, and analytics technologies and their interaction with data governance is a plus.
Tools and CertificationsHands-on experience with any of the Data Governance tools like Collibra, Informatica Axon, Alation and Data Privacy tools like OneTrust, BigID.
Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex data governance challenges.
Communication SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
Compensation and BenefitsThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $100,000 - $150,000. In addition, for the current performance period, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time.
You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company. In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms.
The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a free time PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take time needed for either sick time or vacation.
