Job Overview
As an Event Coordinator Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless event execution, exceeding guest expectations, and driving team excellence. Your role will involve managing events from start to finish, overseeing the Events team, and maintaining high standards of service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and colleague engagement.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate communication and timely resolution of issues.
- Lead the Events team in providing exceptional service, meeting deadlines, and achieving sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and inventory management to optimize resources and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and maintain customer loyalty.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in event planning, preferably in a leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including catering and events management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances, including working nights, weekends, and holidays.
