**Job Summary:**

Stratascorp is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist 2 to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring security measures for communication systems and networks.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Implement and monitor security measures for communication systems and networks to ensure compliance with established security standards and government requirements.
  • Develop and execute government-approved security policies, plans, and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
  • Implement data network security measures to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the integrity of data transmission.
  • Operate and monitor network intrusion detection and forensic systems to identify and respond to security incidents.
  • Conduct incident handling and response to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Support Continuity of Operations Plan/Disaster Recovery (COOP/DR) plans to ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster.
  • Perform other information security duties, including operation of Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) and maintenance of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
  • Operate Host Based Security System (HBSS), firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and other point-of-presence security tools to ensure network security.
  • Perform defensive cyber operation duties, including ensuring workstation and server compliance with Marine Corps McAfee Host Based Security System (HBSS) requirements.
  • Identify cybersecurity incidents using HBSS, Tenable Security Center, Red Seal, McAfee Security Information and Event Manager (SIEM), and other automated tools.
  • Operate Imperva Web Application and Database firewalls to ensure the security of web applications and databases.
  • Perform forensics and remedial action on cybersecurity incidents to minimize the impact on business operations.
  • Report defensive cyber operations statistics to management to inform security strategy and resource allocation.

**Requirements:**

  • Five to nine (5-9) years of information technology (IT) experience required.
  • Certified in accordance with DoD M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II.
