Job Summary

Haleon, a leading global consumer health company, is seeking a Key Account Executive Mayoristas Abarroteros to expand its product access to millions of Mexican consumers through the abarroteros channel. The successful candidate will build strategic alliances with key clients, drive distribution, and ensure efficient and effective product delivery across the country.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop customized commercial strategies for each key client in the abarroteros channel, aligned with the company's objectives, to increase distribution and product growth.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements that optimize the product portfolio at the point of sale, ensuring competitive margins and conditions that promote rotation and profitability.
  • Manage and optimize sell-in and sell-out, ensuring a balanced equilibrium between sales to clients and sales to consumers, to avoid inventory accumulation and promote continuous rotation.
  • Monitor and analyze account performance, evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, market share, and distribution coverage to adjust strategies and improve results.
  • Foster strong and long-term relationships with clients, acting as a strategic partner for their businesses and offering solutions that align the company's objectives with client needs.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in the supply chain, collaborating with the logistics team to ensure efficient and timely product distribution to all points of sale.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing, trade marketing, and operations teams to execute promotions, in-store activation plans, and ensure effective implementation of commercial strategies.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis, staying up-to-date with sector trends and conditions to adjust strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or engineering.
  • Diploma in commercial areas or MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or key account management in the mass consumer goods industry, with a focus on OTC products, personal care, or related categories.
  • Proven experience in managing key accounts in the abarroteros or wholesale channel, handling commercial negotiations and growth strategies with high-volume clients.
  • Competence in negotiating complex commercial agreements, with experience in creating pricing strategies, promotions, and commercial marketing plans.
  • Experience in managing sell-in and sell-out, including inventory monitoring and analysis, to ensure efficient and sustainable sales cycles.
  • Strong analytical skills.
