About the Opportunity

Discova is seeking a Sales Representative Leader to join our team in Cancun. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team that consistently exceeds customer and business partner expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve customer service issues to customer satisfaction with appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local hoteliers, excursion agents, and travel companies.
  • Foster sales strategies that prioritize selling Discova's own operated tours.
  • Ensure welcome packs, company branding, and collateral align with best practices and are presentable to customers.
  • Coach the team to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets as directed by the Host Team Leader.
  • Assist in training and supporting new Hosts.
  • Provide daily and weekly tracking of individual sales targets.
  • Report health and safety issues or standard breaches to Operations and Product.
  • Lead by example in behavior, attitude, and performance.
  • Provide clear and timely feedback.
  • Solid knowledge of corporate and local etiquette.
  • Train and guide team members to take ownership of their work through delegations and trainings.
  • Solid knowledge of the travel market and associated impacts.
  • Numerical skills: Ability to evaluate and analyze customer offers or competitor offers.
  • Create an environment where people feel supported, connected, and empowered.
  • Set goals and deadlines daily and work to achieve and exceed them.
  • Encourage and help team members to solve their own problems.

Experience:

  • A degree in tourism and hospitality is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in leading high-performing teams in the relevant field.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English is required.
  • Proven people performance development and management.
