Job Summary

As the Director of Food and Beverage, you will be responsible for leading the strategic business development of the property's food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banquets. You will oversee the implementation of departmental strategies and ensure alignment with the brand's service strategy and initiatives. Your goal will be to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive revenue growth, and maximize financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement property-wide strategies to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations.
  • Lead the food and beverage leadership team to achieve financial goals, improve service performance, and maintain profit margins.
  • Monitor and analyze financial reports to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate with the food and beverage team to identify opportunities to increase profits and create value.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by empowering employees to provide excellent guest experiences.
  • Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating honesty, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the job.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 6 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related field.
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in food service management, hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major; 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, guests, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and develop strategies to improve financial performance.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
