Sales Representative

As a Sales Representative - Inside at Wesco, you will interact with existing customers to increase sales of our products and/or services. You will leverage your communication skills to create customer satisfaction and add value to their buying experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain orders through phone calls and email, verifying and entering items, and transferring orders to fulfillment.
- Increase orders by suggesting related items and explaining features.
- Develop opportunities passed from marketing and outside sales.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations to secure orders.
- Review open customer order reports and act on open items.
- Maintain distribution system backorder reports and customer notification.
- Report industry trends and customer feedback to management.
Requirements:
- High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Familiarity with sales and sales administration.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in written form.
- Attention to detail and ability to prospect and market concepts to existing and potentially new accounts.
- Ability to work independently with supervision and travel up to 25%.
