As a Sales Representative - Inside at Wesco, you will interact with existing customers to increase sales of our products and/or services. You will leverage your communication skills to create customer satisfaction and add value to their buying experience.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Obtain orders through phone calls and email, verifying and entering items, and transferring orders to fulfillment.
  • Increase orders by suggesting related items and explaining features.
  • Develop opportunities passed from marketing and outside sales.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations to secure orders.
  • Review open customer order reports and act on open items.
  • Maintain distribution system backorder reports and customer notification.
  • Report industry trends and customer feedback to management.

Requirements:



  • High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with sales and sales administration.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in written form.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prospect and market concepts to existing and potentially new accounts.
  • Ability to work independently with supervision and travel up to 25%.
