About the Role

At SAP, we're looking for a skilled Technology Services Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our IT organization, you'll be responsible for delivering technical expertise and support to our customers. Your primary focus will be on handling incidents, alerts, and service requests, as well as planning, setup, implementation, and operation of SAP technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle Incidents, Alerts, and Service Requests
  • Delivery and maintenance of complex SAP Landscapes
  • Planning, setup, implementation, and operation of SAP technologies
  • Conceptual design, configuration, and administration of server landscapes
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, OS, App, and DB related issues
  • Managing daily operations to ensure high availability
  • Proper documentation and definition of technical operational concepts and guidelines
  • Coordination with international teams in global projects
Requirements
  • BE/BTech/MCA from a reputable institute
  • 6-9 years of work experience in Linux administration
  • IT experience with network services like DNS, LDAP, Samba, sFTP, Sendmail, Postfix
  • Experience on at least one of the public cloud service providers (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform)
  • Understanding of NFS, BlockDevice, Raid concepts
  • Scripting experience - Any of Shell, Perl, Python, Go, or similar
  • Working experience in Virtualization (XEN, VMware)
  • Experience with OS monitoring, backup/restore, configuration automation technologies (Chef)
  • Experience working in an international environment
